What makes me sick....

Maybe this is old news to some, but I was quite shocked about it!

Last weekend, a friend and I, we decided to go out again, after a long time.
Had a look on the internet, it said Mummy´s Darlings and Schusterjungs play in Munich.
Both not our favourite bands, but whatever, we also knew that Munich is a snob place
with lots of PC-bullshit, whatever, better than staying home all the time.

When we arrived and got in the place, there was a small guy, I guess the one who put
on the show with his sidekick who were both watching the people.
Some person, wearing a Combat 84-shirt walked by.
The small guy told his sidekick to "have a look" !

So that sidekick pulled out a PRINTED LIST with names of bands, emblems, clothing labels etc.
that are considered OFFENSIVE.

He had a look on it, then said: No, that was Combat 18.

WHAT THE FUCK ??????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I walked over and asked them if they knew what they are doing.
The got a bit embarassed and said: Well, we normally do Rock Shows only. We do not want any "Nazis" here.
I asked if Udo Lindenberg was playing tonight and why they just do not keep away from Skinhead-gigs then.

No answer.



Later on, the place was full of "Come on you Skinheads" shouting, Oi! Oi! Oi! etc etc.
I am sorry, I do not want to take myself too serious here, but next time I rather stay home than
getting in contact with this devote plastic-shit.



Maybe it is hard today to put on gigs, but the whole thing was about being independent, wasn´t it?
0% rebellion, accepting some control-freak-idiots who have nothing to do with the music etc.
as the masters of all concerts, who, if they would have no clue about the whole thing, but would show a bit
respect to the audience, would be ok.

But they have no respect for the skins.
They can keep their plastic audience and their millions of horrible "Deutschrock-fans", who are nothing to me than
normal people who can not live without their Böhse Onkelz-stuff and are looking for substitutes.

I do not give a damn what people think politically when I go out normally, but this shit is making me sick!
Think it has gone really far, all this PC-bullshit.
People who act hard and tell everybody that "they do not say sorry to anybody" are a big joke when they allow
these freaks to control them.

I am not Superman myself, but I´d rather stay home next time because this is SO GAY !!!

No offence to the bands, whatever, i do not know the background of all this, but big offence to the people
who set rules like that !!!

Bigger offence to those who play by these rules!

I wonder that the bands accepted these conditions. Did they knew about it?

But I´m not joking, it was a list on glossy paper, that this guy pulled out.
From what I could see, it had the emblem of Thor Steinar on it, one thing said C18 , I also believe I have seen
runes etc. on it.

I have no clue, if someone is distributing this shit (would not be surprised though,
this republic is run by sick control-freaks and this might be what you get from that)
or if that guy printed it out himself cause he had no clue about the whole thing.
But fuck it! Would they do the same if some metal bands played?
If they can´t cope with people being different, they should not represent themselves
as a fortress of tolerance. They should not put on Oi!-Gigs then.
Do not get me wrong please, an Oi! gig is not really a political ralley maybe, but if someone
wearing a Combat 84 shirt falls under suspicion, what kind of Oi! gig is this?
Where is it heading to?
I remember going to a gig of Bagadou Stourm years ago and my friend was wearing a Ramones-shirt.
No one gave a shit of course! No one pulled out a paper that said: Ramones-jewish band.
Now you have to leave the concert.

Why are they so scared of the boogeyman?
Everytime they tell us, they have better arguments, they are so bright, the rest is stupid and extremist bla bla.
But it is them who fear a debate if they would ever get one.
They just try to shut down everything that is not under their control.

They shut down and try to isolate everything and everybody who wants to think for himself maybe.
How scary! People with questions!
And it is them who always say that they are against intolerance etc.

Reality looks different though.......
It also looks like if today´s "rebels" do not care, as long as they get their beer and some music.
What happens in politics throughout Europe is definately affecting the subcultures nowadays I believe.

March in line, that is what they want.

So they might shut out people who have lived for these things for years and years,
while they themselves do not have a clue about it, but they want to set up the rules and pave
the way for the "new scene" that seems just as plastic and in-line as rest of society!

Today If you go to a Oi! gig, you see more nerds skinheads than true rebels. Too much fashion, too much PC bullshit...
Everybody can be skinhead today.

In my eyes, the Live & Loud festival (Belgium) is one of the last true big skinhead festival (with the Kuggnas in Sweden and few others in England). There, no one care about the name of the band on your t-shirt. The only ones who are not welcome are the trouble makers.

I enjoyed all the gigs in Belgium, because most of the people just seem to be themselves and they are a lot more relaxed.
Last night I saw the singer of one of the bands that played in Munich last weekend and he said that
apart from the obvious things you have to do here in germany to have a gig, especially in a big town
like Munich, they had nothing to do with what that guy did.
He said that gig was organized by something like the "Freiwild Supporters Club Southern Germany " and his band
just took the chance to play! He also knew nothing about that flyer/list whatever you call it!
Ok, I believe him and I am not judge and jury, I just wanted to tell somebody what freaked me out!

Yes, it seems to be very easy to become something today.
The internet totally distorted the "laws of nature" that existed. I´d say these Deutschrock-morons should stick to
their own shit or better go and see all their beloved Onkelz-Coverbands (only 3 million of them exist, hahaha)
rather than do shows they have no clue about.......

i was also at the gig in munich. on this concert are less pseudos than in vienna hahaha. its a problem today. guys in boots and braces signs in the crowd about violence and to be proud and when they get some troubles, they run away... i saw so many people and every one of them are so. one guy, who lives near to me, tooks me few month ago with the car with. he listen to division germania. i asked him since when he listen to rac. he means this music is good and he likes the band very much. 3 month ago, he played with his band and sings good night, white pride from loikaemie. what the fuck?!?! this fucking wankers are all over the world. because these people skinhead inst a rebellion anymore. im so aggro when i see this people....

This topic reminds me when about year ago some one from Germany send me Email(he didn´t bother introduce himself at any point) that if we would like to put gig in Finland for Condemned 84. But problem for this guy was that he has seen some pictures from the gigs in Finland and saw that people wearing t-shirts from the bands like Kill Baby Kill and he told that´s the big problem for him haha. I told him to fuck off and no one from Germany or anywhere else can´t come to tell us how things works in Finland, and anyway if we want C84 to play in Finland again we will contact direct to the band.

Condemned 84 wont play anymore at Live & Loud festival... (they already play for L&L 2 times. 1989 and 1996)
Kev the singer dream about playing one day in a big (PC) festival in Germany... and he's affraid than this dream can't be true If they play in Bruges...

This festival is so boring.... At the begin of it it was ok and there were some interesting bands.
But now it's every year the same shit!
If Kev wants to play there, I don't think he could do it one day! It's to PC. But it could be a good day to wear my C84 R.A.C.-Shirt

I am confused, on their new lp they sing "We won´t be intimidated", I thought their

At least Oi! didn't have a pretty face that could have been molded into something like mainstream commercial pop-punk bullshit. That would have been the day, Oi! on MTV, opening for Lady Gaga, NO NAZIS ALLOWED. Haha.

Wait, hold that thought. I don't really know her or her music, but I think, for example, that Oi! projects like Jenny Woo's are a bit off. My girlfriend actually pointed out to me that she sounds exactly like some indie girl from fuck knows what band. Sad part is it I checked it out and it actually sounded like that.

Saga was total bullshit, emotionless voice, boring interpretations of Skrewdriver classics, but sex sells, you know?
Deadline, except for their first 7inch was totally boring, thin voice, lalalala-songs etc, maybe I am wrong, you know, but it is all
nothing that will last in my memory.

I like the music lars frederiksen is involved in. I'm a big fan of rancid and i really like the both lars f & the bastards records. And the old firm casuals? Not bad. Saw them playing the rebellion fest last year.

The music scene is business. Even the rac scene is business, but of course more underground because of media/ state oppression.
Yes, there are a handfull bands/ people doing the skinhead thing for true reasons, thats great. They have my respect and support, but i hear the music i want to here, no matter if commercial or not.

Well, taking it serious.....it is something I really dislike, but I will not really lose all my sleep over it, you know?

Sometimes I just think that lots of fake bands lead to fake people and it might be partly responsible for this PC-crap spreading,
because it takes the whole thing out of the underground and whenever it scratches the mainstream it will have to follow the rules of the
mainstream. That is just a thought of me and of course I am not trying to preach to anybody. My wife likes that stuff as well and I do not beat her for it (yet).
I also like some commercial bands and you are absolutely right, it is all business, I´d even say ESPECIALLY in the RAC-scene if you see how some labels fight eachother, cause it seems many have decided to live of it. In the end it is of course for everyone to decide what he needs or not.
There are commercial bands who do not pose, who do not pretend, that is just something I do not like so much, some people have time for that,
some don´t. It is ok for some if it serves the purpose to entertain, it ain´t for others.

It might be a question of what people are looking for. There are many examples, I just decided to pick out OFC, because the image is so....you know?
It could have been an RAC-band or whatever as well, it is everywhere I guess. And I do not set up the rules, it is just my individual thoughts about it. Of course I am not out of a book aswell, but I do not pretend to be. Just decided not to like it, just as if I would not pick up a transvestite when I want a woman, just because it kind of looks like a woman. (Hahahahahahaha what a horrible comparison....but it works for me.)
